No. Drift® Roses, including Peach Drift®, are hybrid landscape roses developed through breeding programs and are not native to the United States. While they are prized for their beauty and performance, they do not offer the same ecological value as native flowering shrubs or wild roses.
Peach Drift® is a compact, low-growing rose that features clusters of peach-colored, double blooms from spring through frost. It typically grows 1.5 to 2 feet tall and 2.5 to 3 feet wide, making it ideal for groundcovers, borders, containers, and edging in sunny garden beds. It is also known for being disease-resistant and reblooming without deadheading.
This rose thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained, fertile soil. It is hardy in USDA zones 4 through 11, and benefits from regular watering, mulching to retain moisture, and light pruning in early spring to maintain shape and promote vigorous flowering.
To a limited extent. The blooms may attract some bees and butterflies, but as a hybrid with double flowers, it provides less accessible nectar and pollen than single-flowered or native rose species. It is also not a host plant for native insect larvae.
