Bumbee’s delivers perennial wildflowers, grasses, and ferns “From Farm to Yard” conveniently from our growing facility on the east end of temperate Long Island. We guarantee all plants to be of proper quality upon receipt of plants or your money back!
Our ideal shipping window occurs in early March & April whilst plants are still dormant.
During this period plants may arrive with little to no top growth. This is the best way to ship to ensure that plants arrive without damage and once installed in your garden plants will emerge as days get longer naturally with the cycle of our seasons.
There are some items however that will be best to ship after the last frost dates in your region. We will discuss any potential issues prior to shipping your plants. For more info read our Planting Guide.
Please expect some delays in shipping during summer months!
Shipping perishable items in the heat of summer can be tricky to say the least. Our goal is to try to get your plants to you in the best shape possible.
This means we may hold off on shipping items during periods of excessively high temperatures to give your new plants the best chance of surviving their journey in good shape.
We will try to communicate any delays to the best of our ability, but please feel free to reach out about your order if you’re concerned about delivery issues.
When your plants do arrive, it’s important that you get them unboxed and watered as soon as possible.
